Been listening on repeat stampede ost 2 and i just need to let it out.

On ep 9 we learn about the twins song which titled as ‘Duet’. It was started by child-Nai seemingly playing some high notes slowly like he’s still trying to compose a melody, and he feels proud when it comes out beautifully (he smiles too, omg)

And then Vash came in a crash and started playing his own made up melody in low notes and upped the tempo (the melody is the one that he humms in ep 12 btw), making Nai feel annoyed and struggled to follow his lead at first.

But in a second, Nai started to get a feel on the melody and they keep on playing the duet. (Lol his face. Turn out your brother is a genius pianist too, right Nai? Vash charm +35)

Then we finally back with teen-Nai finishing it alone. And he actually included Vash’s low notes parts into his composition now. (His left hand replacing Vash’s, god..)

AND NOW we know that Nai’s piano (which also titled as Knive’s Piano btw), is like a solo composition he made based on their duet song, and that makes me feel soft.

Add in the Million Knives vocal version and it’s like a triple kill ☠️

💖7/25/2023 Project Update! RE: Hollywood Strikes💖

Hello everyone! The mod team have been in talks in regards to the ongoing strikes in the US movie industry and how they impact our zine. As of today we've come to the conclusion we're sharing with you now.

Here at the Sapphic Barbie Zine, we stand in solidarity with the WGA and SAG-AFTRA.

After a lot of research, we have decided to follow the guidelines and requests of the unions on strike in Hollywood who have asked all content creators (which includes this project) to not promote any movies affiliated with the companies they are striking against. What this means for our contributors, as we have discussed with them, is that there will be no content in this zine that pertains to Barbie (2023) since it was produced by Warner Bros. Based on our research, all of the old Barbie movies are safe because they were created by Lionsgate which is an independent production company that is not on the list of struck companies, and thus they and various other unaffected types of Barbie content will be present in our zine.

Since we have no way of knowing how long the strikes in Hollywood may last, we are going forward with the assumption that we will not be able to include any content about Barbie (2023) for the duration of this project. We are open to the idea of bonus content including it later on if the strike ends before we get to the production side of this project, but there is just no way for us to be able to definitively plan for that at this time. Therefore we have decided to err on the side of caution—and unions! We hope you understand our decision.

Please be assured this decision was not made lightly and was made after much research by Mod Griff, who has prior personal experience with and knowledge of unions. We felt it was the least we could do to help support the writers and actors currently on strike.
